Building construction
Milestones
Jarry tennis stadium in Montreal
The redevelopment and renovation of the Jarry tennis stadium included the construction of new bleachers and a world-class center court. It also included construction of a building housing eight tennis courts, construction of 9 outdoor tennis courts and adjacent outbuildings.
Montreal Casino
The expansion of the casino included, among other things, the complete restoration of the old France and Quebec pavilions dating back to Expo 67. It also included the construction of an underground garage of 2,200 spaces, a bridge, a pedestrian overpass connecting the two pavilions and two outdoor parking areas for 1,000 vehicles.
Promenades de la Cathédrale
The complex takes its name from the fact that it was built in the Christ Church Anglican Cathedral. During the 16 months of construction, 20 meters was excavated into the clay under the church and 80 000 cubic meters of earth were removed. Subsequently, 21 caissons were sunk to a depth of 20 meters into the limestone to support the cathedral above the gallery.
