Building construction

Opened in the spring of 2008, the Crystal is located on the corner of Mountain Street and René Lévesque Boulevard. It is one of the first residence-hotel type buildings in Montreal. It houses 59 luxury condos and 131 rooms and suites.

The Marriott Chateau Champlain, located at 1050 rue de La Gauchetière West, near  Place du Canada was designed by architect Roger D’Astous. Its construction was completed in the spring of 1967 for Expo 67. It is 128 meters high, divided into 38 floors and houses 592 rooms and 19 suites. The Marriott Château Champlain is the highest hotel and 10th highest skyscraper in the city of Montreal.
