One of our CRA Quebec colleague and fellow geologist Josée Martin (Brossard office), is presently pedalling an 8,000 km trip which is taking her from Greece, through central Europe and to Norway as her final destination. Josée is completing her adventure with 3 other cyclists from Quebec, to collect funds for the Montreal Children Hospital. They started their journey on April 29, 2012, and plan on pedalling for a period of 9 weeks, for an average of approximately 130 km/day. As of June 5, 2012, they have now reached Oslo, and 25 days of bicycling remain before reaching their final destination.
For those of us who would like to support medical research for children, your donations to the Montreal Children Hospital are most welcome and will encourage Josée to pedal through her adventure.
Here is a picture of Josée on the roads of Germany.
Good luck Josée and hang in there!
